Mới đây, Game Critics - một trang web có tiếng được giới chuyên môn tín nhiệm - đã cập nhật danh sách đề cử những tựa game xuất sắc nhất tại E3 năm nay. Trong đó, nổi trội hơn cả là Rage - tựa game mới của id Software. Trò chơi FPS này đã được đề cử trong 5 hạng mục. Tiếp đó là Portal 2 của Valve Software với 4 đề cử.
Epic Mickey - tựa game được ít người chú ý trong thời gian qua - đột nhiên lại nổi trội hơn rất nhiều tên tuổi khác trong danh sách này khi có số đề cử không kém gì Portal 2. Ngoài ra, Harmonix - hãng game khai sinh ra dòng game Guitar Hero - cũng có thể hãnh diện khi tựa game âm nhạc Dance Central của họ có số lượng đề cử cao thứ 2 trong danh sách này.
